The upcoming 3rd summit of international organizations, committed to advancing the objectives of COP29, is poised to convene in Baku.
Scheduled to coincide with the 6th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, the event will center around the overarching theme of Paving a Sustainable Route towards a Green Tomorrow: Collective Endeavors at COP29 and Beyond.
The inauguration of the third summit will witness addresses from key figures including Azerbaijan’s Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, Mukhtar Babayev, serving as the President of COP29.
An extensive agenda awaits participants, featuring interventions from leaders and delegates representing various international bodies engaged in the forum.
The VI World Forum of Intercultural Dialogue is scheduled to be held in Baku from May 1 to 3. The Ministry of Culture, UN Alliance of Civilizations, UNESCO, ISESCO and the UN World Tourism Organization are providing organizational support for the event.
The opening of the III summit featured speeches by Mukhtar Babayev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources and President of COP29, and Yalchin Rafiyev, the chief negotiator.
