Internship at Konsis

Konsis collaborates with many local Universities to accomodate 3rd and 4th grade University students to have a short internship. Internship is also open to any graduate who wishes to gain work experience in a corporate environment. Editor/Proofreader

Job requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in English, preferably in translation field.

- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Azerbaijani languages (Russian will be an asset), their linguistics and translation techniques.

- Excellent computer and typing skills.

- Accurate, reliable, flexible, creative, talented, self-manager, self-motivated, self-controlled and problem-solver.

- Ability to assume responsibilities, address difficulties, make decisions, work under pressure and to meet deadlines.

 Responsibilities:

- Editing/proofreading translated materials.

- Taking over responsibility for translation projects, making sure that they are delivered on the due date according to the highest quality standards.

- Delivering regular reports and evaluations about her/his team's quality and productivity.  

- Being one of the official links between the team and the Translation Department Manager, to whom he/she will directly report and by who he/she may be delegated temporally or for some permanent responsibilities.

Job requirements:

- University Degree

- Minimum 3 years of experience in written translation from English to Azeri or Russian languages and vice versa in Technical field

- Basic knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and MS outlook (CAT tool skill is an asset)

 Responsibilities:

- Translating technical documents from English into Azerbaijani or Russian and vice versa,

- Ability to do basic research and analysis in a variety of subject matter fields in order to become familiar with the terminology involved in each subject matter field in which required to translate.
